Jagged rocks found at the farthest left side of Patar beach

Pangasinan had always been associated with bangus (milk fish), tupig ( glutinous rice with grated coconut wrapped in banana leaves and cooked over live coals ), bagoong (shrimp paste) and the Hundred Islands. Though they are part of the reasons why tourists flock Pangasinan, another gem is now gaining the attention of beach enthusiasts.

All time favorite : Bagoong and Tupig :))

Overnight Stay @ Joaquin's Bed and Breakfast, Tagaytay

Tagaytay had always been a no brainer choice when it comes to family bonding destinations. Just 2 hours from the hustle and bustle of Manila, one will be treated with magnificent views of the Taal Volcano not to mention the several parks and restaurants that compliment the much needed vacation.

When I was younger, we'd usually travel to Tagaytay for family picnics during long weekends.
This time was different though. As I wanted our anniversary to be different (not the usual roughing-it-out kind of trip),we were off to Joaquin's Bed and Breakfast after scoring a great deal from one of the online buying sites.

El Nido Travel Budget

People would usually think that the budget needed for El Nido would be something close to Php 25,000. With my recent trip to the Philippines' Last Frontier, it was otherwise. I'd like to share my El Nido expenses to erase the notion that El Nido is a costly place to travel. I even stayed in a  Php 400 room for 2 pax  which was considered as the cheapest place to stay in El Nido.

TRAVEL GUIDE : El Nido

El Nido was once tagged as one of the most expensive places to visit in Palawan. But opposite to what most think, El Nido is truly a backpacker haven.
