El Nido Travel Budget

People would usually think that the budget needed for El Nido would be something close to Php 25,000. With my recent trip to the Philippines' Last Frontier, it was otherwise. I'd like to share my El Nido expenses to erase the notion that El Nido is a costly place to travel. I even stayed in a  Php 400 room for 2 pax  which was considered as the cheapest place to stay in El Nido.

On our way back to Puerto Princesa, kids hitchhiked on our bus and were dropped off to this little school a few meters from the highway.  It rained the night before and was still drizzling at that time.  It saved them from getting  all muddy and walking at least 3 kilometers to school . Kudos to the RORO Bus drivers! :))
I remember my mom narrating how she had to walk 5 kilometers a day,
across rice fields and rivers, just to go to school.

We really enjoyed the barbecue sold on the side streets of El Nido.Haha :)) And we spent more moolah on souvenirs, pasalubong and chaolong of course :))

Aside from the popular Tour A, there are other island hopping tours available.

TIA!
